How does the
doctor keep up to date on all of the current techniques and technologies?
Dr. Hussin has taken close to 1,000
hours of continuing education programs in the last five years, many
at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
The other members of our team each take close to 100 hours a year.
If we see a program or course that we believe will improve our skills
and our service to patients, we take it.

Can you show
me what my smile can look like ahead of time?
Yes. We can show you many examples
of patients who have had similar work done by Dr. Hussin. We'll construct
wax models so you can see your mouth in three dimensions. We'll also
make temporary work so you can wear the teeth and be sure you're
comfortable with it before the final work is done.

At what age
should my children first see a dentist?
We recommend that children come in
for an introductory visit between the ages of two and three.

Do you accept
referrals?
We love getting referrals from our
current patients! We appreciate your trust and confidence in our
abilities.

Do you accept
my insurance plan?
We do accept most insurances, although
we do not participate in any dental HMO's. We will file all necessary
claim forms and supporting materials for you and, if possible, will
accept direct payment from your insurer.

What do I
do if I have an emergency and the office is closed?
Dr. Hussin is accessible by pager
and will call patients back as quickly as possible. Call
the office number for directions on how to reach him by pager.

What different
payment options do you provide?
We offer a variety methods for payments,
including cash, check and charge. We offer a five percent cash prepayment
deduction. We also work with outside financing services that provide
some interest-free financing for larger cases.

I want my
front teeth to look better, but I do not want to wear braces. What
would you recommend?
We can suggest several options. You
might want to consider Invisalign
invisible braces, which can straighten
your teeth without anyone knowing that you are wearing braces.
Another possibility is the use of veneers,
which can make your teeth appear straighter and more attractive
in as few as two to three weeks.

What is smile
design?
Smile design is the process that Dr.
Hussin uses to assure that a patient gets the smile that they want-a
smile that looks and works right for their face. He considers a patient's
face shape, face height, occlusion (the alignment of teeth of the
upper and lower jaws), as well as tooth shape, color and height to
width ratio.

Can I ask
the doctor a question directly?
Yes! We offer complimentary
consultation appointments where patients can ask any questions that
they have, as well as review plans for their treatment. This process minimizes
surprises and gives you a good understanding of what to expect before,
during and after treatment.
